Obama Makes Right Call

Today, we congratulate and thank President Obama on his wise choice to lift the drilling ban off some eastern US shores: the eastern Gulf of Mexico, part of Alaska, the southern Atlantic coastline and off Virginia.
He addressed the short and long term goals that drilling will achieve. The short term goals are business investments, immediate jobs, and an eye toward future self-sustaining energy policies. The long term goals certainly lend themselves to improved national security, an energy policy that could lower domestic costs and provide career positions for thousands/
Again, we thank and congratulate the President on his willingness to address a difficult and thorny issue and do the thing that is best for all who live in the United States.
